    From Robin Butler, This was a family recipe passed down from Robin's mother and modified to be gfcf by Robin.

    List of Ingredients




    2 cups Bob' s Red Mill Wheat free Biscuit&baking mix
    2 cups sugar
    2 soft sticks GF/CF margarine
    1 tablespoon cinnamon
    3 small apples peeled and diced
    1 mashed banana
    2 eggs
    scant 1/2 cup whitegrape juice
    minced nuts (optional)
    cinnamon & sugar (to sprinkle on top)

    Recipe



    Stir all ingredients together (except for sugar and cinnamon).

    The mixture should be very thick but moist looking like bread dough. (You will have to guess at the amount of juice.I have not came up with an exact amount yet.The dough should be so thick it takes some strength to mix.)

    Grease and flour a 13" x 9" glass pan and bake at 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes.

    The cake bakes darker brown than most cakes do.

    Check center of cake with toothpick to check if it is done.Cake will pull away from sides of pan also.
