    Makes about 1/2 pound candy.

    List of Ingredients




    1 c Maple syrup
    1/2 c Sugar, succant, maple sugar
    2 ts White rice vinegar
    2 ts GFCF Baking soda

    Recipe



    Grease a 9x9" pan; set aside.

    In heavy 2-quart saucepan combine syrup, sugar, and vinegar. Bring to boiling over medium heat, stirring till sugar dissolves.

    Continue cooking without stirring to 300~ (hard crack
    stage). Remove from heat; quickly stir in soda and mix well.

    Immediately pour into pan; do not spread.

    Cool; break into pieces.
