    No Fuss Cabbage Rolls

    Source of Recipe

    Heinz It Up

    Recipe Introduction

    Makes 8 servings.

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef
2/3 cup uncooked long grain rice
    1 onion, finely chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 tsp each salt and pepper
    3 cups Heinz Tomato Juice
    1 cup Heinz Chili Sauce
    8 cups coarsely shredded cabbage
    Soy Sour cream (optional)

    Recipe

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Crumble the ground beef into a bowl. Stir in the rice, onion, garlic, salt, pepper and 2 cups tomato juice.
Layer one third of the cabbage into a 12-cup casserole dish. Top with half of the meat mixture. Repeat layers again, finishing with remaining cabbage.

Stir remaining tomato juice with chili sauce and spread over the cabbage and pour over any juices in bowl. Cover and bake for 2 hours or until beef and cabbage are cooked through. Serve with a dollop of sour cream (if using).

    Twists:
Twist 1 For a meatless version, substitute textured vegetable protein for beef.

Twist 2 For a weeknight time saver, double this recipe and freeze one casserole.

Twist 3 For speedier preparation, use bagged, shredded cabbage to make this dish even more easily.
