    List of Ingredients




    2 pounds of ground beef or ground turkey
    29 oz of tomato sauce
    29 oz of kidney beans with liquid or dried beans soaked overnight equivalent to 29 oz
    29 oz of pinto beans with liquid or dried beans soaked overnight
    1 c of diced onions
    1/2 c diced green chilies (I also use 2 dried cayenne peppers)
    1/4 c of diced celery
    3 medium tomatoes, chopped
    2 t of cumin powder
    3 T of chili powder
    1 1/2 t of ground black pepper
    2 t of sea salt, not white processed salt but you can use what you want
    2 c of water; if using dried beans put in 2 1/2 c of water

    Recipe



    • Brown ground beef in a skillet until browned, drain. Throw in your crock pot. Add remaining ingredients.
    • Cook on high for 2 hours and turn down to low and cook all day or whenever you feel it is done. The longer it cooks the better.
    • I top my bowl of chili off with raw diced onions, can never have enough of those in my life, and shredded cheese or CF Daiya cheese. To each his own.
    • This chili recipe is the best recipe I have made. I can eat this stuff for breakfast even. You can add or omit whatever your tastes are.
