    1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
    1 cup Heinz Chili Sauce
    1/2 cup soy sour cream
    1/3 cup olive oil
    3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
    1 small red onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp each salt and pepper (approx.)

    Recipe



    Combine chickpeas, chili sauce, soy sour cream, olive oil, lemon juice, onion, garlic, salt and pepper in a food processor. Blend until smooth.

    Season, to taste with additional salt and pepper if necessary.
    Transfer dip to a bowl. Cover and chill for 2 hours. Makes 3 cups.

    Twists:

    Twist 1 For a bean variation, substitute other bean varieties for the chick peas.

    Twist 2 For a delicious appetizer, serve with pita triangles,
    breadsticks or crudites.

    Twist 3 For a healthy idea, use this bean dip as a sandwich spread.
