Small Batch—approximately 1 cup (For 8” x 8”l pan of cake or brownies)
3 Tablespoons coconut butter (or ¼ cup butter if not dairy-free)
1/3 cup cocoa
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
3 Tablespoons milk substitute (or milk if not dairy-free)
1/8 teaspoon vanilla powder (or ½ teaspoon gf vanilla)
Large Batch—approximately 2 cups (For 9” x 13” cake or brownies)
½ cup coconut butter (or ½ cup butter—one stick if not dairy-free)
2/3 cup cocoa
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk substitute (or milk if not dairy-free)
¼ teaspoon vanilla powder (or 1 teaspoon gf vanilla
Recipe
Melt coconut butter (or butter) in microwave or pan on stove. Stir in
cocoa.
Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating on medium speed to
spreading consistency. Add more milk substitute (or milk) if needed. Stir
