    Fluffy Frosting

    Recipe Introduction

Carolyn remembers getting this recipe from the gfcfrecipes
group. Unfortunately the original post cannot be located.

    List of Ingredients

    1st set of ingredients

    1-cup milk or milk substitute
¼ cup flour (I use sweet rice. Tapioca flour makes gooey lumps.)

    Second Set of Ingredients

1 cup of granulated sugar (not powdered)
1-cup cf margarine or ghee if tolerated
    2 TBS vanilla

    Recipe

Mix the milk with the flour and cook on low heat until very thick (but not too thick).

Basically as soon as it starts to thicken remove it from the heat.

Let this mixture sit until completely cooled or close to it.

I rushed it once and ended up with frosting soup.

Cream together the second set of ingredints until light and fluffy, about five minutes in a stand mixer.

Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides.

Add the cooked milk and rice mixture and beat for another five to ten minutes.

The graininess of the sugar will disappear all of a sudden.

Just keep beating until it's gone.

    Frost your cake and enjoy.
