List of Ingredients
1 onion, diced
1 potato, small dice
2 teaspoons turmeric
4 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon cardamom, ground
1 stick cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger crock pot
2-3 pieces chicken on the bone
1/2 bag of baby carrots, diced
1 1/2 cups yellow lentils or channa da'al
2 teaspoon salt
water to cover
Recipe
Combine all ingredients in a crock pot, cover with water.
Set on low before Shabbat and allow to cook until ready to serve, about 18 hours.
