    Lamb Supreme Cholent

    Recipe Introduction

    List of Ingredients

    3 lbs of lamb
    4 carrots sliced up
    2 onions diced
    3 potatoes (peeled and cut up into 2 inch cubes)
    3 teaspoon cinnamon
    2 teaspoon paprika
    1/4 teaspoon saffron
    2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 1/2 teaspoon Pereg spice for meatballs (kosher brand of spices - use
    an italian style blend)
    1 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    3 Tablespoons honey
    1 teaspoon salt
    3 Tablespoons olive oil


    Recipe

    Lightly brown the lamb in 2 Tablespoons of olive oil and place it into the crock pot.

    Using the same pan, saute the onions with all the spices. Place onions into the crock pot as well.

    Add carrots, potatoes and the spices with the water into the crock pot. Make sure the meat is covered in water. Sprinkle the salt and honey on top. Let cook and enjoy shabbat day!
