    Almond Milk 2

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 C whole raw almonds, soaked overnight
    2 C cold water
    1 C boiling water
    1 C ice water

    Recipe

    Immerse the almonds in the boiling water for 30 seconds, drain, and immediately immerse them in the ice water.

    This loosens the skins and you will now be able to pop them off easily by squeezing them between your thumb and fingers.

    Put them in the blender as you skin them.

    Add 1/2 C of the cold water to the blender with the almonds and blend for 1 minute.

    Add the water by 1/2 C, blending for 1 minute in between each addition.

    For soup recipes, there is no need to strain the pulp out.

    If you were going to drink the milk, you would want to do so.
