    Origins Unknown, but it appears someone named Teri posted it somewhere.

    List of Ingredients




    9 cups water
    3 cups cider vinegar
    1 cup salt
    2 Tbls. Dill Seed or 1 large dill weed folded to fit jar, with lots of seeds.

    Recipe



    Add water to vinegar and add salt.

    Bring this mixture to a boil.

    Soak washed cukes in ice water for about 2 to 3 hours
    so they are nice and crisp.

    Add 2 or 3 garlic cloves, and dill in the bottom of the
    bottles and pack cukes in bottles.

    Pour HOT liquid over the cukes.

    Leaving 1/2 inch head space at the top.

    Seal with lids and rings,
    6,001 and above BWB 25
    1,001-6,000 ft BWB 20 mins.
    0-1,000 ft 15

    Place in dark place for a few weeks before eating.

    Marcie's Note: I put about and 1/8 tsp or more to taste, I use 1/2 tsp of cayenne in some to make them spicy....
