    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. water

    Recipe



    Combine sugar and water.

    Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar.

    Boil for 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.

    Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

    This can be used to sub out corn syrup in recipes.
