    Recipe Introduction

    originally from skin-care-recipes-and-remedies.com

    List of Ingredients

    1/4 cup of glycerin
    1/3 cup of hot water
    2 tablespoons of liquid lecithin
    1/4 of sage
    1/4 cup of honey
2 tablespoons of *dried buttermilk powder

*Sub rice milk powder if you are casein free as buttermilk powder is a dairy product and is not casein free.

    Recipe

Combine hot water and sage and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Strain the liquid and remove sage.

Combine all ingredients and mix well.

Apply on the freshly shampooed hair and leave on for a few minutes.

    Rinse well with warm water.

    This recipe does two things:

It conditiones the hair with honey which is known as an antibacterial and cleansing agent. It also introduces glycerin which is used as an oil substitute as it is not as greasy as oils are but still has a strong nourishing property.
