Cream of Rice Halvah

List of Ingredients
• 1 cup cream of rice cereal
• 1/2 cup ghee or CF margarine
• 1 1/2 cups water
• 1 cup sugar
• handful golden raisinsRecipe
Mix water and sugar and bring to a boil. Melt ghee in a pan. Toss in cream of rice and raisins, stirring constantly at a low heat for 20-25 minutes until somewhat golden in color.
Add the rice mixture, by single spoonfuls, to water and sugar, which should be simmering. When all rice mixture is added, keep on low fire for 2 or 3 minutes, stirring continuously.
Remove and serve hot or pat into a prepared baking dish, refrigerate until set. Serve cut into squares.
