    Recipe from Allergy Proof Recipes for Kids by Leslie Hammond and Lynne Marie Rominger.

    List of Ingredients

    1 Cup cf milk alternative
    2 Tbls plus 1 tsp canola oil
    4 tsp starch (I used Tapioca)
    1 cup cooked carrots mashed
    2 cups cooked and cooled gluten-free elbow macaroni
    salt and pepper

    Recipe

    Whisk together the milk alternative, oil and starch in a large sauce pan and bring to a boil over medium heat.

    Reduce heat to low, stir in the mashed carrots and macaroni and stir until heated thoroughly.

    Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
