AVOCADO AND ORANGE SALAD

List of Ingredients
DRESSING
2/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 small clove garlic
1 1/2 tablespoons orange peel, grated
1 1/2 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon honey or saccharin
1/4 teaspoon salt
pepper to taste
SALAD
1 1/2 large heads romaine lettuce,torn
1/2 lb. mandarin oranges, peeled and chopped
2 avocados, sliced Recipe
1. Combine dressing ingredients in blender at least one hour before serving.
2. Pour over the salad and toss lightly.
