Chili-Tomato or Enchilada Sauce

Serve with meat, chili rellenos, or use in casseroles.
List of Ingredients
1 tablespoon oil or margarine
1 small chopped onion
1 - 3 tablespoons red chili powder (to taste)
3 cups tomato juice or 2 cans tomato sauce for
thicker sauce
1 clove minced garlic
salt to tasteRecipe
Cook onion and garlic slowly in hot oil until lightly browned.
Add remaining ingredients and cook about ten minutes.
