List of Ingredients
3/4 Cup Plain Hemp Milk (reserve 1/4 cup)or CF milk Sub
1 TSB Coconut/Flax Butter or CF Butter Sub + 1 tsp
1 TSB GF Flour (I used Four Flour Blend)
1 Tsp Minced Garlic
1 chopped shallot
2-3 slices Pepper Jack Rice Vegan slices
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 Pkg cooked Quinoa Fettucine or other GF fettucine/spaghetti
1 Pkg Frozen or Fresh Steam Veggies
I also add minced clams and crab meat.
Recipe
Saute clams, crab, onions and garlic with 1 tsp coconut/flax butter.
Bring 1/2 cup of the hemp milk to a boil.
Lower to simmer and add Rice cheese slices, coconut/flax butter, salt and pepper and mix until melted (2-3 min).
Combine 1 TSB flour with 1/4 cup hemp milk and mix till the cheese is melted.
Add this to cheese sause and it thickens nicely.
Combine pasta, veggies, clams/crab, and cheese sause.
This is good for about 4 people and also freezes pretty well.
