    2 onions, browned in oil
    3 diced potatoes
    1 cup (3-4 sticks) celery
    1 cup (3-4 sticks) carrots
    1 large can whole tomatoes in puree'
    1 small can tomato paste
    1 cup frozen peas
    1 cup frozen green beans
    8 cups water
    2 Tbs. sugar
    1/4 cup millet, or quinoa
    2 tsp. salt
    1 t italian seasoning
    1/4 t. crushed red pepper
    2 gloves of garlic crushed

    Boil and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

    I used up already what I made 2 weeks ago. The stuff is excellent and warms you up when it is soooo cold outside. I'm going to add a tad bit more of crushed red pepper.
