    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup oil
    3 eggs
    3/4 cup apple or pear sauce
    1/2 tsp stevia (I use the powder)
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 TBSP lemon juice
    2/3 cup carob powder
    1/4 c sweet rice flour
    1/4 c brown or white rice flour
    1/2 c tapioca starch
    1/4 c bean flour
    1/4 c nut flour, like almond
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp sea salt
    1/2 c chopped nuts (optional)

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (175 degrees C). Oil an 8 inch square pan*

    Place the oil, eggs, sauce, stevia, vanilla, and lemon juice in a blender or food processor (I've used both and like the food processor better.) Blend until smooth and add carob and blend again until smooth.

    Stir together dry ingredients. Mix into wet ingredients. Spoon batter into pan. Bake for 30 minutes.

    *Using an 8 inch pan makes a thick brownie that my little guy just couldn't bite into. I use a larger pan (9 by 13 and the brownies are thinner and easier to eat. Bake for the same amount of time.

    I cut them into squares, individually wrap them, freeze them, and throw them into lunches.
