    2 cups chicken, cubed and cooked
    1 cup celery, chopped
    1 cup mayonnaise
    1/2 to 1 teaspoon curry powder
    1 (20 ounce) can chunk pineapple, drained
    2 large fi rm bananas, sliced
    1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
    1/2 cup fl aked coconut
    Salad greens (optional)
    3/4 cup salted peanuts or cashew halves

    Recipe



    Place the chicken and celery in a large bowl. Combine
    the mayonnaise and curry powder in a small bowl and stir. Add this
    mixture to the chicken mixture and mix well. Cover the mixture
    and chill for at least 30 minutes. Before serving, add the pineapple,
    bananas, mandarin oranges, and coconut, tossing gently to blend.
    Serve on salad greens if desired. Sprinkle with nuts. Serves 4 to 6.
