    Milky Way Cake

    This is so good!!! And so rich!

    List of Ingredients




    Cake:

    6 Milky Way candy bars (standard size)
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 t. baking soda
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 t. vanilla

    Topping:

    3 Milky Way candy bars
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 T. milk
    1 t. vanilla
    1 c. powdered sugar

    Recipe



    In a sauce pan, melt candy bars with 1/2 c. butter over low heat. In a mixing bowl, cream 1/2 c. butter and sugar until fluffy. add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Mix flour with soda. Add alternately with buttermilk. Beat until smooth. add candy mixture, then vanilla. Bake in a 9x13" pan for 55 minutes at 350 degrees.
    For the topping; melt candy bars with the butter. Add the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth and spread over cooled cake.

    (Note: Use the powdered buttermilk. If you don't usually use buttermilk on a daily basis.)
