    Hamburger Stroganoff

    My husband's Aunt shared this recipe with his Mom while he was young and has been one of his favorites ever since.

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 c. minced onions
    1/8 t. garlic powder
    1/4 c. butter
    1 pound ground beef
    2 T. flour
    1 t. salt
    1/4 t. pepper
    1 pound fresh mushrooms or 1 -8oz. can mushrooms, drained, reserve the juice
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 cup sour cream
    2 T. minced parsley
    8 oz. egg noodles, cook acording to package directions

    Recipe



    Saute onion and garlic in bitter over medium heat. Add meat and brown it. Add flour, salt, pepper, and mushroom. Cook for 5 minutes. Add soup, simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Heat through. Sprinkle parsley over cooked egg noodles and with Stroganoff.
    (If using canned mushrooms add reserved juice as needed)
