    Lola's Chocolate Chip Cookies

    From Grandma Ruth's old cookbook.

    List of Ingredients




    1 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 t. baking soda
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 t. salt
    vanilla
    chocolate chips
    nuts

    Recipe



    Cream together shortening and sugars. Beat in eggs. Add all the dry ingredients and vanilla and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Bake in a 375 degree oven until golden brown.
