    List of Ingredients




    Dough:

    4 c. flour
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. warm milk
    1 T. butter
    1 t. salt

    Filling:

    1/2 c. dry cottage cheese
    1/2 c. cooked prunes
    1/2 c. drained sauerkraut
    1/2 c. mashed potatoes

    Recipe



    Note: One use one filling per individual pirohi.

    Combine sifted flour, salt, butter. and slightly beaten eggs with enough milk to make a soft dough. Roll out thin on a floured surface. Cut into 2 inch squares. Place 1 t. filling into each square. Fold into a triangle and pinch edges securely. Drop into boiling water and cook until pirohi comes to the top, about 10 minutes. Serve hot with melted butter.
