    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

    3 Cups Flour
    2 Cups Sugar
    2 Teaspoons Soda
    1/3 Cup Cocoa
    1 Teaspoon Salt
    3/4 Cup Salad Oil
    2 Tablespoons Vinegar
    1 Teaspoon Vanilla
    2 Cups water

    Sift dry ingredients together into pan & level off. Make 3 "wells" or little "cups" in flour mixture. Into one put 2 Tablespoons vinegar; into another put 3/4 cup salad oil & into the last one, put 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add 2 cups of water. Mix with a fork. Do not beat, but mix well until the batter becomes smooth.
    Bake 30-35 minutes in a 325-350 oven.

    Frost with Bakers Icing
