    • 4 lbs.beef rump roast
    • 2 1/2c. Italian salad dressing(any brand )
    • 2 tbsp.olive oil
    • 1 tsp.seasoned salt(I use LAWERY'S)
    • 1 tsp.black pepper
    • 1/4 c.water


    Instructions


    1. Combine the roast and 2c.salad dressing in a large plastic bag.Squeeze out the air,seal tightly and massage to coat the meat.Marinate in the refigerator for at least 2 hours and up to all night,turning at least once.
    2. Preheat skillet over high heat.Add the oil.Remove the roast from the marinade,and add it the skillet.Brown on all sides 4 to 5 minutes .sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper.
    3. Add the water and the remaining 1/4 c.salad dressing.Cover,reduce heat and cook until very tender about 3 hours,checking to see if more water is needed.
