PUMPKIN BROWNIES II

2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. drained prepared pumpkin
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Recipe
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. In a large bowl beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Stir in pumpkin. Add flour mixture and stir. Add nuts. Spread in greased 13x9 pan and bake 25-30 minutes at 350°. Cool slightly. Cut into squares and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar or spread with icing.
