List of Ingredients




1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 Tbsp. syrup
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. cocoa

Recipe



Cream butter, sugar and add eggs 1 at a time. Beat well then add syrup. Mix flour, soda, and cocoa. Add to butter mixture a little at a time alternating with buttermilk ending with flour. Add vanilla. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.

Milky Way Filling:

1 box confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cocoa
1 stick of butter
12 tsp. whole milk

Mix until creamy. Ice cake when cool.
