    1 6.9 oz pkg chicken flavored rice and vermicelli mix with herbs
    1 tbs butter
    2 1/4 cups hot water
    1 1/2 lbs boneless,skinless chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces
    1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
    1/2 tsp garlic pdr
    3/4 cup sour cream
    3/4 tsp pepper
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    Bread crumbs
    1 tbs butter melted

    Cook rice according to pkg directions using 1 tbs butter and 2 1/4 cups hot water. Remove mixture from skillet,set aside. Wipe skillet with a paper towel. Pam the pan and heat until hot. Add chicken,mushrooms and garlic and saute 6 min or until chicken loses its pink color. Combine rice mixture, chicken, sour cream, pepper and soup, stir well. Pour into pammed 2 qt casserole. Combine melted butter and bread crumbs and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350o for 35 min.
