    2 tablespoons butter
    2 tablespoons flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1 teaspoon (heaping) sugar
    1/2 teaspoon grated onion
    1 cup sour cream
    4 cups fresh cooked green beans
    1/4 pound Swiss cheese, grated
    2 cups corn flakes, slightly crushed
    2 teaspoons melted butter

    Recipe



    In a large skillet melt the 2 tablespoons butter. Stir in the flour, salt, pepper, sugar, and onion; stirring until smooth.

    Add the sour cream, stirring constantly, until thickened. Fold in the green beans. Pour into greased 2-quart casserole; sprinkle with the cheese.

    In large bowl combine the corn flakes and melted butter; sprinkle over the cheese. Bake at 400-degrees for 20 minutes.

    *Note: Canned green beans can be substituted for fresh. Also you can refrigerate this recipe and just bake it 10 minutes longer.
