    Fudge Caramel Brownies

    List of Ingredients


    • DOUGH MIX
    • 1 box of German Chocalate Cake mix
    • 3/4 cup of margarine - melted
    • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
    • 1 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
    • FILLING MIX
    • 1/3 cup of evaporated milk
    • 50 caramels (should be about 50 caramels in 1 standard sized bag)
    • 1 cup of chocalate chips


    Instructions


    1. Make the dough mix first with all of the listed ingredients.

    2. Spread 1/2 of the dough mix into a greased and floured 9X13 pan.

    3. Bake this at 350 degrees for 6 minutes.

    4. While the above is baking, put the caramels and evaporated milk from the filling mix into a sauce pan and melt.

    5. After the initial 6 minutes, pull the dough mix pan out of the oven.

    6. Pour the melted caramel and evaporated filling mix on top of the dough mix.

    7. Place the 1 cup of chocolate chips on top of the melted caramel mix.

    8. Crumble the remaining dough mix on top of the caramel and chocolate chips.

    9. Place the pan back in the oven and finish baking at 350 degrees for 18 minutes.

    10. Cool before eating.
