    Frozen Fruit Salad

    Source of Recipe

    unknown

    Recipe Introduction

This recipe calls for putting it in baggies. This WILL work, but I have room in my freezer to put it in plastic containers then eat it out of the containers.

    List of Ingredients

2 or 3 small cans of Mandarin Oranges (Do NOT Drain)
1 (20oz) can Crushed Pineapple (Do NOT Drain)
6 bananas, peeled, cut length wise & sliced
1 small or med jar of Maraschino Cherries, "DRAINED" & each cherry cut in half
1 (12oz) can of Frozen Concentrated Orange juice, thawed 12oz of cold water (use OJ can to measure)
    1 & 1/2 cup Splenda or Sugar
    2 cups water

    Recipe

First, boil the 2 cups of water with the 1 & 1/2 cups Splenda for 3 minutes.
Then set this mixture aside to cool completely.
Meanwhile, mix together the following very thoroughly:
the cans of Mandarin Oranges with it's juice, the can of Crushed Pineapple with it's juice, the can of Frozen OJ, the 12oz OJ can full of cold water, & the cooled Splenda-water mixture.
Now add & mix in the sliced Bananas & the cut Cherries.
Place the salad in the freezer in containers or Zip-Lock bags.
When ready to use, remove from the freezer 1 to 2 hrs before serving.
Chop salad slightly with a fork or spoon.
You want the salad to be "Slushy" for serving.
    The colder the better.
You want it to be "Frozen Fruit Salad".
