List of Ingredients





1 cup sifted flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 sq unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 cup chopped nuts
24 marshmallows, cut in quarters
1 (6oz) pkg chocolate chips, melted



Recipe



Sift dry ingredients into bowl. Add the shortening and eggs. Beat at medium speed on electric mixer until fluffy (about 2 minutes). Add vanilla and unsweetened chocolate. Beat thoroughly. Stir in nuts. Spread batter in a greased 11 x 7 x 1 1/2″ pan. Bake in moderate oven (350F) for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and cover with marshmallows. Pour melted chocolate bits over all. Cool in pan. When cool, cut into cookie size pieces.
