    List of Ingredients


    • 2 c. sugar
    • 1 small can -- 5 1/3 oz. evaporated milk
    • 1 - 6-oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 1/4 lb. oleo
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 1/2 c. nuts (optional)


    Instructions


    1. Bring to boil slowly sugar and evaporated milk. After it starts to boil, boil for 6 minutes.
    2. Add chocolate chips, oleo, and vanilla. Beat with mixer until thick; add 1/2 c. nuts (optional).
    3. Place in buttered 8 X 8 pan. Cool and cut into 36 pieces.
    4. This freezes well in a tight container.
