    List of Ingredients


    • 2 c. sugar
    • 1/2 c. hot water
    • 1 c. white syrup
    • 1 lb. raw peanuts
    • 1 tbsp. butter
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1 1/2 tsp. soda
    • 1 tsp. vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Boil sugar, water and white syrup until hard ball or 250 degrees. Keep stirring and keep pan on stove; add peanuts, butter, and salt. Stir until a light brown. Bring to 300 degrees and remove from stove to add soda and vanilla.
    2. Place in a well buttered cookie sheet. Cool and break.
