    List of Ingredients


    • 1 head lettuce
    • 1/4 c. sugar
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 6 slices bacon
    • bacon grease
    • 1/2 c. sugar
    • 1/4-1/2 c. vinegar
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • 1/4 c. milk


    Instructions


    1. Break up one head of lettuce in a bowl. Sprinkle 1/4 c. sugar over this and add salt and pepper to taste. Mix together bacon pieces and part of the grease from 6 slices of fried bacon with 1/2 c. sugar, vinegar and the eggs to 1/4 c. milk.
    2. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. While hot pour over lettuce and stir in.
