    • THICK:
    • 1/4 c. butter
    • 1/4 c. flour
    • dash salt
    • dash pepper
    • 1 c. milk
    • MEDIUM:
    • 2 Tbsp. butter
    • 2 Tbsp. flour
    • dash salt
    • dash pepper
    • 1 c. milk
    • THIN:
    • 1 Tbsp. butter
    • 1/2-1 Tbsp. flour
    • dash salt
    • dash pepper
    • 1 c. milk


    Instructions


    1. Melt butter over low heat and add flour to it. When smooth add the milk, salt and pepper.
    2. Makes 1 c. white sauce.


    Final Comments


    This is really good to use for creamed eggs, creamed peas, creamed asparagas, chipped beef gravy, and many other things. I usually use the Medium one.
