    Frosted Pecans

    List of Ingredients

    • 2 to 2 1/2 cups pecan halves
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 5 Tbsp. water
    • 1/4 tsp. salt
    • 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
    • 1 tsp. cinnamon


    1. Toast pecans in moderate oven for 8 minutes.
    2. Mix other ingredients in a saucepan.
    3. Cover and bring to a boil.
    4. Boil until soft ball stage.
    5. Remove from heat.
    6. Add nuts and stir until syrup covers nuts and looks frosty.
    7. Turn onto waxed paper to cool.
    8. Be sure to separate nuts while warm.
