    Helen Abdnor- Billy's grandmother (submitted by Barbara Duncan- Billy's aunt)


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 1/2 cups flour
    • 1 tsp. soda
    • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
    • 1 cup crisco
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 3 egg yolks


    Instructions


    1. Sift together flour, soda, and cream of tartar.
    2. Blend together crisco, vanilla, sugar, and egg yolks.
    3. Mix dry ingredients into sugar mixture.
    4. Roll into balls 1 inch in diameter.
    5. Place on ungreased cookie sheet approximately 2 inches apart.
    6. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned.
