This is a specialty of Denice's sister, Karen.
List of Ingredients
- 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. boneless pork chops (or sliced pork loin)
- 1 can French fried onion rings
- 1 lb. grated cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 - 32 oz. pkg. frozen hash browns (cubed- not shredded)
Instructions
- Mix together defrosted hash browns, 1/2 lb. cheese, cream of celery soup, sour cream, 1/2 french fried onion rings, and salt & pepper to taste.
- Pour mixture into large greased baking dish.
- Lay pork chops on top.
- Sprinkle remainder of grated cheese and top with the remainder of the French fried onion rings.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- Remove foil and cook additional 10-20 minutes until browned.
