    My mom made this many times during the winter time. I now make it for my family during the winter time. I LOVE it!!


    List of Ingredients


    • 6 or 7 potatoes
    • 1 carrot, grated up thin
    • 1 onion, cut up small
    • 5 cups water
    • pepper and salt to taste
    • 4 oz. velveeta cheese (I use more.)
    • 2 chicken bouillion cubes
    • 1/3 cup butter
    • 1 can evaporated milk


    Instructions


    1. Cook potatoes, carrot, onion, bouillion cubes and water for about an hour (or until potatoes are tender) on the stove.
    2. Add velveeta cheese, butter, and milk. Heat until warm, constantly stirring.
    3. Do not scorch.
