    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 C. shortening
    • 1 C. brown sugar
    • 1/2 C. granulated sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1/4 C. water
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 1 C. flour
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    • 3 C. oatmeal


    Instructions


    1. Mix all ingredients together.
    2. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
    3. Bake 350 deg. for 12-15 minutes.


    Final Comments


    You can add raisins if desired.
