    Stuffed Cabbage

    • 1 large head cabbage
    • 1 onion minced, or dried onion flakes
    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • 1 C. cooked rice
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1/4 tsp. pepper
    • 1 tsp. paprika


    Instructions


    1. Prepare cabbage leaves.

    2. Mix beef, rice, seasonings, sautéed onions or onion flakes.

    3. Stuff cabbage leaves and place on wax paper covered cookie sheet and freeze. When frozen place in bags and seal.

    4. To cook, place cabbage rolls in pressure cooker with 1 Cup of water and cook for 10 minutes.



    Final Comments


    An easy alternative: Shred the cabbage (about 4 cups worth). In a casserole dish, layer half of the cabbage, half of the meat mixture, repeat layers. Top with canned tomatoes, drained, as much as you like. Bake @ 350 covered for 1 hr, uncovered 30 more minutes.
