List of Ingredients
1 lb. lean hamburger
1 onion
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 can water chestnuts, chopped
1 bell pepper
3/4 cup BBQ sauce
4 pkg. reduced-fat crescent rolls
salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
Cook beef and onion, drain fat. In pan stir in chili powder, bell pepper, chestnuts and bbq sauce. Bring to boil then reduce heat to low.
Meanwhile place each roll on baking pan. Place small amount of meat in center of dough and bring corners together to cover meat.
or:
Lay 2 rolls of dough side by side, flat on baking sheet. press together where it tears apart. (to make one big flat sheet). Place small amount of meat mixture on dough about 2 inches apart. Take other 2 rolls of dough. press them together like frist 2 rolls, making one sheet of dough. Place sheet of dough over meat mixture. In between meat mixture portions, press together both dough. Take a knife and cut into squares, (spray knife with nonstick cooking pray). Separate.
Bake at 425 degrees for 17 minutes. May be prepared in advance, frozen and then baked 20 to 25 minutes.
