2 cups Kellogg's Froot Loop cereal, crushed to 1 cup
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup shortening, softened
2 tablespoons sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup milk Recipe
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in medium mixing bowl.
In large mixing bowl, blend shortening and sugar. Add egg and milk;
beat until smooth.
Add dry ingredients, stirring only until combined. Fold in Kellogg's
Froot Loops cereal. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
Bake at 375° F about 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
If tea muffins are desired, fill 1 1/2-inch greased muffin cups 2/3
full.
Bake at 375° F about 25 minutes. While hot, dip in melted butter and
finely crushed Kellogg's Froot Loops cereal.
