8 oz cooked whole-wheat spaghetti
1 egg
Parkay Spray
24 oz canned tomato sauce
8 oz canned tomato paste
1 Tbsp basil
1 tsp ground oregano
2 leaf bay leaf
12 oz fat-free cottage cheese
12 oz Low-Fat Soy Mozzarella Cheese
1 pound lean ground beef
1 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp olive oil
1 small onion(s)
2 tsp McNeil Specialty Products SPLENDA (R) No Calorie Sweetner Recipe
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and mix in 1 beaten egg and coat lightly with Parkay spray. Place evenly into the bottom of 9x13" pan sprayed with olive oil Pam. Top with Fat Free Cottage Cheese.
Brown onion, garlic in olive oil. Add ground beef and brown. Drain well. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, seasonings & splenda. Simmer 15-20 minutes. Remove Bay leaves and pour over spaghetti mixture. Top with Mozzarella cheese cover with foil and bake in 350 degree oven 45 minutes. Remove from oven, remove foil. Let set 5 minutes; cut and serve.
