    Homemade Bread Stuffing

    This makes a GREAT stuffin for turkey, chicken, pork and just a good side dish. Makes enough for a 3lb bird. Double for bigger birds. For the bread I save ends and others and save in freezer.


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 tbs Chopped Onion
    • 1/4 tsp Salt
    • 1/4 Cup Butter
    • 7 Slices Old Stale Bread (4 cups dry bread)
    • 1/4 tsp Pepper
    • 1/2 tsp Bell Poultry Seasoning
    • 1/4 tsp Ground Sage
    • 2-4 tbs Broth or Water


    Instructions


    1. In a bowl tear or cut bread into pieces and combined with spices. Cook onion in butter and add to mixture. Toss with enough liquid to moisten.
    2. Can make it with corn bread if you desire. Add anything you want like celery or mushrooms.
