    CARAMEL BROWNIES

    1 BOX GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE MIX
    ¾ CUP SOFT MARGARINE
    1 JAR CARAMEL
    1 CUP CHOPPED NUTS
    1 PKG SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS (12 OZ)
    1 CAN EVAPORATED MILK (MINUS 1/3 CUP)

    MIX TOGETHER CAKE MIX, MARGARINE, NUTS, AND MILK. PUT ½ BATTER INTO CAKE PAN AND BAKE FOR 10 MINUTES. REMOVE PAN AND SPRINKLE CHOCOLATE CHIPS OVER BATTER. SPREAD (MELTED) CARAMEL AND THEN TOP WITH THE REST OF CAKE BATTER. CONTINUE BAKING FOR 20 MINUTES.

    LET SET UP FOR AT LEAST 2-3 HOURS BEFORE SERVING.

    GREAT WITH ICE-CREAM OR WHIPPED CREAM
