    Cinnamon Pecan Shortbread Bars

    1 cup butter, softened
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg
    2 cups Martha White® All-Purpose Flour
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 cup chopped pecans



    Preparation Directions
    1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan. In large bowl, combine butter and sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Add flour, cinnamon, salt and vanilla; mix well. Stir in 1/2 cup of the pecans. Press dough in bottom of pan.
    2. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup pecans over dough; press in lightly.
    3. Bake at 350°F. for 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
